About

I'm a scientific researcher, inventor, and system architect with a PhD from MIT's Electrical Engineering/Computer Science Department. My latest project was the software system that allows PeraHealth Inc (a company I co-founded) to display life-saving Rothman Index graphs at over 50 hospitals. Before that I spent 35 years at IBM in management and as an individual contributor in memory technology, high-performance computing, and visualization. I have 80 publications and 28 patents, and have written close to a million linesof code in C#, PHP, SQL, HTML/CSS, Java, Javascript, SAS, C++, C, and APL.
Recently I've been a volunteer at Northern Westchester Community Center's "computer help" hour, and have presented a couple of workshops on web design with and without Wordpress at our library. I also still maintain our installed software at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
